Background

Elektra Natchios was born on a Greek island to billionaire, Nikolas Natchios and his wife. They relocated to America when she was young, her mother killed not long after by the son of the leader of an evil group known as the Hand. She continued to be Daddy's Little Girl, but after the death of her mother, an interest in martial arts was encouraged.

Elektra saw the death of her father at the hands of the Kingpin's henchman, Bullseye but mistook the killer for Daredevil, the alter ego of her new found love, Matt Murdoch. Her sole focus became revenge, and so Elektra trained hard to be ready to face her father's killer. She defeated Daredevil only to find out he was Matt, and then found out the true killer was Bullseye. Her confrontation with the Irish hitman ended in her death.

While it is assumed that Elektra stayed dead, the truth was that she was brought back to life by Kimagure sensei, Stick. For a while she stayed with him as a student, but he asked her to leave and so Elektra began her life as an assassin, adopting her trademark red satin outfit.

Abilities

Elektra has no known supernatural abilities, though she does have fast reflexes and superior martial arts skills. Her weapons of choice are two twin-bladed Sais. She is trained in Kimagure which allows her to see the future, and gives masters of it the power to bring people back to life.

Personality

Elektra by nature is a secretive person, even before the death of her father occurred. She doesn't like people getting close, and she certainly doesn't like being touched without first inviting it. She is capable of being warm and happy, but more often than not she is seen as cool and distant, and more than a little angry. She has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) that is thought to have stemmed from her mother’s death and basically presents itself in the form of her obsessively counting, and being a perfectionist. She puts up a front to guard herself, and only those that she deems worthy ever meet the real Elektra. She is a cold-blooded killer where most assignments are concerned, but there is always the possibility that at some point, she might wind up sympathizing with a target.
